Heard It Through the Pipeline

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) held their annual Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet at the Broward County Convention Center, October 13, 2017. William R. Nash, Inc.’s Project Team was the recipient of an Eagle Award for their work at The Miami Cancer Institute, on the Baptist Campus in Miami, Florida. Congratulations Team!

We’d like thank our ABC – Florida East Coast Chapter for this honored recognition.

Nash was officially awarded the plumbing scope of work on the new Jackson Health System – West Medical Campus in Doral, FL. The new Medical Campus will include a 235,000 sq. ft. Diagnostic and Treatment Building, 60,000 sq. ft. Medical Office Building, and a 298,000 sq. ft. Parking Garage / Support Building. This project has a “Design Assist” component that starts immediately and is to be completed in the 1st or beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2018 with construction starting shortly thereafter. The anticipated opening is in late 2019. Congratulations to our Pre-construction department for their efforts as well as everyone else who played a part in securing this project. Great job!

V.P. of William R. Nash V.I., Inc.(Mike Pruiett), Superintendent (Luis Olazagasti), and Project Manager (Steve Presley) stand proudly together post Hurricane Irma. Currently, the V.I. office is working solely off generators and looks like that will be their mode of electricity for some time. Plenty of restoration ahead for the VI Team!

AQC 2017

William R. Nash is proud to announce that our status as an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) has been renewed by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) ABC National.

“Associated Builders and Contractors is pleased to honor William R. Nash, Inc. with Accredited Quality Contractor status for its commitment to excellence in construction, its workforce and the communities it helps build,” said 2017 ABC National Chair Chuck Goodrich, president of Gaylor Electric, Indianapolis. “William R. Nash, Inc. earned this recognition for world-class safety performance, a strong record of investment in a talented and well-trained workforce, diversity leadership and community service.”

William R. Nash, Inc. has been awarded complete Plumbing and Mechanical scope of work for the Brand New Spartanburg District 7 High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This project consists of a new 2-story, 400,000+ sq. ft. high school featuring larger classrooms, modern guidance and career center, as well as a football stadium. The school plans to open in the Fall of 2019. A huge shout out to both our team in South Carolina and back home in Miami! Way to Make it happen!

William R. Nash, Inc. has been recently honored by Baptist Health Foundation as one of its Century Club members in recognition of our generosity and continued philanthropic support. We are particularly proud of being a vital partner in Baptist Health’s mission to provide the best healthcare to all in our South Florida community!

It’s been a productive few weeks at William R. Nash, Inc., our Pre-Construction Team has reeled in 3 new projects! The new Hilton Hotel on the Kendall Campus of Baptist Hospital of Miami, a new Free Standing Emergency Department in the Town & Country area of Miami-Dade County, and a new Student Center at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. A big thank you to Hensel Phelps Construction, Charles Perry Partners, Inc. and Gerrits Construction for selecting William R. Nash as one of their partners on their next project.


The Ribbon-Cutting ceremony for the New Miami Cancer Institute for Baptist Health South Florida took place last night and our President, Russell Nash, pictured along with Bill Morton, Bruce Adams, Ron Bowes, Doug Peck, and Robin Savage of Robins & Morton were on hand to share in this celebration.
William R. Nash wishes to extend our gratitude to Baptist Health and Robins & Morton for allowing us to be a partner on this project. Also, thank you to our fellow subcontractors, vendors & suppliers and a special shout-out to all of our team members who played a role in the completion of this project. It was quite a challenge, but we did it!
What a joy to be a part of a project that is going to provide such a valuable contribution to our community.
