Heard It Through the Pipeline
a plaque honoring William R. Nash, Inc., was installed outside of The Pediatric Proton Therapy Waiting Room at Miami Cancer Institute in recognition of years of generosity and philanthropic support for Baptist Health South Florida. Russell Nash was there for the unveiling alongside Laura Denoux (Director of Development, Corporate Philanthropy, & Sponsorships at Baptist Health South Florida Foundation) and Rudy Kranys (Chair Emeritus of Baptist Health Foundation).
On January 24, 2018, William R. Nash, Inc. hosted HCA Healthcare‘s Florida’s MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (Architectural)) Improvement Initiative at the Doubletree by Hilton Sunrise – Sawgrass Mills. The Meeting was led by HCA’s Design, Construction,
and Facility Management Team who is responsible for the renovation and new construction of hospitals across the United States. This seminar is a continuous improvement initiative with the intention to discover a fluid and transparent project process.

The William R. Nash team at the Hilton/Miami Dadeland Hotel Project, in Miami, has been recognized by Project Manager, Matthew Wilson, and the Hensel Phelps team for their outstanding safety efforts. These efforts were observed during the current excavation taking place on site. Congratulations to: Ricky Bacallao, David Torres, Rolando Arce, Mike Moloney, Shakime Brown, Roberto Vega, Omar Mendez, Enrique Souto, Francisco Montejo, and Ernesto Villarroel.
On Monday, November 5th, William R. Nash’s President and C.E.O., Russell Nash, took part in WLRN’s “The Sunshine Economy’s” Program. His interview was part of a segment focused on the shortage of skilled labor in an ever-growing Construction Industry in South Florida. Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) held their annual Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet at the Broward County Convention Center, October 13, 2017. William R. Nash, Inc.’s Project Team was the recipient of an Eagle Award for their work at The Miami Cancer Institute, on the Baptist Campus in Miami, Florida. Congratulations Team!
We’d like thank our ABC – Florida East Coast Chapter for this honored recognition.
Nash was officially awarded the plumbing scope of work on the new Jackson Health System – West Medical Campus in Doral, FL. The new Medical Campus will include a 235,000 sq. ft. Diagnostic and Treatment Building, 60,000 sq. ft. Medical Office Building, and a 298,000 sq. ft. Parking Garage / Support Building. This project has a “Design Assist” component that starts immediately and is to be completed in the 1st or beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2018 with construction starting shortly thereafter. The anticipated opening is in late 2019. Congratulations to our Pre-construction department for their efforts as well as everyone else who played a part in securing this project. Great job!

William R. Nash, Inc. has been awarded complete Plumbing and Mechanical scope of work for the Brand New Spartanburg District 7 High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This project consists of a new 2-story, 400,000+ sq. ft. high school featuring larger classrooms, modern guidance and career center, as well as a football stadium. The school plans to open in the Fall of 2019. A huge shout out to both our team in South Carolina and back home in Miami! Way to Make it happen!
The Ribbon-Cutting ceremony for the New Miami Cancer Institute for Baptist Health South Florida took place last night and our President, Russell Nash, pictured along with Bill Morton, Bruce Adams, Ron Bowes, Doug Peck, and Robin Savage of Robins & Morton were on hand to share in this celebration.
William R. Nash wishes to extend our gratitude to Baptist Health and Robins & Morton for allowing us to be a partner on this project. Also, thank you to our fellow subcontractors, vendors & suppliers and a special shout-out to all of our team members who played a role in the completion of this project. It was quite a challenge, but we did it!
